e Daily Green Heart of Green Awards honor individuals, companies and organizations that have helped green go mainstream. In 2011, the award categories have been broadened to include a richer variety of people, places and things deserving of attention.We are pleased to announce that our company President, Dan Weisenbach, who was green so long before it was cool to be green, has received the honor of being nominated for The 2011 Heart of Green Awards. Dan is not only the owner and founder of Weisenbach Recycled Products, but he is also a tireless volunteer, serving his community as a Board Member of Keep Ohio Beautiful and Green Columbus, an adviser to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Recycling and Litter Prevention (ODNR-DRLP) and on the Columbus Mayor's Green Team.
This year, voting for the awards is open to the public. You can vote on your favorites and the results will be announced online. Voting for the 2011 awards is now open. Please check our Dan's nomination video and if you like it, we'd sure be grateful if you would VOTE FOR DAN!
